Hits like you've never heard them before--literally. New Nostalgia reimagines classic pop songs with a modern jazz/rock twist. A 9-piece instrumental jazz/pop/rock band, New Nostalgia fills a distinct void in creative music. The band is led by saxophonist and composer/arranger Neil Carson, whose unique instrumental interpretations of classic pop tunes are brought to life by a full 5-horn section and a driving rhythm section. New Nostalgia’s self-titled debut album pays tribute to artists of the 1980’s, including Tears for Fears, Peter Gabriel, Tracy Chapman, Phil Collins, Yazoo and more.
